Phone lines have been an integral part of the alarm industry for years and aren't disappearing any time soon. The combination of our fully redundant Surgard System III Receivers (along with our powerful software platform) allows us to accept and identify all the digital formats used today. Knowing that technology is never stagnant, we are always ahead of the curve in updating our software and providing our alarm dealers with every possible option.

Fire Alarm, Sprinkler & Elevator Monitoring

Scutum Digital is one of a select few NYC Fire Department approved central stations, permitted to monitor commercial fire alarms within the five boroughs. We maintain technical staff in house (NICET Level I – IV) simply to assist our alarm dealers with programming and troubleshooting. Our extensive knowledge and guidance on NFPA and NYC codes provide a valuable advantage to dealers who use Scutum Digital. On an ongoing basis, we work closely with municipalities throughout the United States to insure code compliance.

PERS Systems: Panic and Medical 2-Way

Emergencies do not always occur within reach of a telephone. The ability to call for help with the touch of a button can be priceless, mainly when it saves a life. Our medical 2-way technology and professional support staff can provide families of elderly, ill, frail, diabetic, or disabled persons with the peace of mind that their loved one can communicate an emergency instantly with the touch of a button. This can also be used as a "panic" button for adults, small children, and at-risk expectant mothers.

2-Way Voice Systems

With 2-way voice, the intermediate and time-consuming step of the phone call is eliminated. Instead, you can communicate directly and immediately with the monitoring center through your control panel. The panel is either hardwired and uses the phone line, or it might be a wireless system using a secure cellular connection. The functionality is like having a direct intercom connection between your home and our team at the monitoring center.

We support 2-way voice-capable panels such as 2GiG and Honeywell LYNX Touch Panels, among others.
